MCN is Committed to Ending Violence
Tue, 10/02/2012
We all have a role in preventing domestic violence within our communities. At MCN, we are committed to ending violence within the mobile poor population and continue forward with our efforts by providing resources to clinicians, migrant women, and migrant men. Currently, MCN is providing prevention education workshops to men using our Hombres Unidos Contra la Violencia Familiar curriculum, aimed at the primary prevention of sexual and intimate partner violence. This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we encourage everyone to learn about what you can do to prevent violence within your community and the migrant community.
For more information on how you can prevent domestic violence, please contact Adrian Velasquez, Family Violence Prevention Manager at (512) 579-4505.
