Health Centers from coast to coast hosted more than 1200 events in celebration of National Health Center Week 2012 and the photos and videos submissions are pouring in as part of the National Health Center Week Photo & Video Contest! Take this opportunity to submit event pictures and video as part of the National Health Center Week Photo & Video Contest - submission deadline THIS FRIDAY, August 31st!
Showcase your health center's event and commitment to health center advocacy by submitting photos and video for either of the two contest categories:
Category A) Submit a photo or video that shows your health center's staff, board, volunteers or patients being advocates. For example, a photo or video of your health center offering voter registration, of health center supporter's meeting with an elected official, supporter's talking about why health center advocacy is important, etc.
Category B) Submit a photo or video that conveys your health center's National Health Center Week celebration. For example, a photo or video of your health center's event preparation, event attendees, event program, etc.
Here's how the contest works:
1. Capture photos and/or video following either of the category guidelines (see above)
2. Submit your photos and/or video through the NHCW website
- No more than 2 photo and 2 video submissions per submitter
- Videos must be less than 3 minutes in length
- Submissions must be received no later than 8pm EDT on Friday, August 31, 2012
3. Vote for finalist photo and video entries September 4 - 8, 2012
Winners will be announced at NACHC's 2012 Community Health Institute in Orlando, Florida, September 7-11, 2012. All submissions must comply with the complete contest rules -- click here to view the contest rules.
