Presenter: Matthew Keifer, MD, MPH, Dean Emanuel Endowed Chair, National Farm Medicine Center Wednesday, March 23 from 12-1 pm CDT To join the session, click on this link: http://uiowa.na5.acrobat.com/mkeifer/ Please join us for a webinar that will overview the importance of recognizing and managing pesticide exposure, the toxicological reasons pesticides cause health problems and appropriate treatment. Particular emphasis will be given to farmworkers, as this largely immigrant and marginalized population is the working population most often affected by pesticide overexposure. The webinar, sponsored by AgriSafe Network, Migrant Clinicians Network and the National Farm Medicine Center, will feature Dr. Keifer, a board certified occupational medicine specialist and internationally renowned researcher regarding pesticides and worker health. For over 20 years, Dr. Keifer has focused his clinical practice and research largely on farmworkers.
