Meeting Description: The National Eye Health Education Program (NEHEP) of the National Eye Institute, one of the National Institutes of Health, invites you to participate in a free webinar highlighting important information about research conducted with Hispanics/Latinos. The webinar will include an overview of the prevalence of eye diseases and conditions among this population, their knowledge of eye disease, preferred sources of information, barriers impeding effective communication with healthcare providers; and describe NEHEP resources available to help raise awareness about eye health during Hispanic Heritage Month and beyond.
