Mayan Medical Aid will be providing 50 scholarships to qualifying students between November 1, 2007, to October 31, 2008.
The scholarships are matching grants for students who spend between two and eight weeks taking the Medical and Dental Spanish elective in Santa Cruz La Laguna, Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. Electives start every Monday. And the match is 60/40: students pay 60% of the elective cost and the scholarship provides the other 40%.
