Diabetes and Healthy Eyes Toolkit
The Diabetes and Healthy Eyes Toolkit helps community health workers provide sight-saving information to people with diabetes. The Toolkit is available in English and Spanish and includes a:
EyeCare America
People eligible for a referral through the program receive a comprehensive, medical eye exam and up to one year of treatment—at no out-of-pocket cost—for any disease diagnosed during the initial exam. Volunteer ophthalmologists accept Medicare and/or other insurance reimbursement as payment in full. 1-800-222-EYES (3937)
InfantSEE
Public health program designed to ensure early detection of eye conditions in babies. Member optometrists provide a free comprehensive infant eye assessment to children younger than one year.
Interprofessional Fostering of Ophthalmic Care for Underserved Sectors (InFOCUS)
A non-profit agency promoting eye care for underserved communities. Provides trainings on primary eye care and use of the Focometer.
Knights Templar Eye Foundation

Mission Cataract USA
Volunteer Eye Surgeons' Association, providing free cataract surgery to people of all ages who have no other means to pay. Surgeries are scheduled annually on one day, usually in May. Phone: 1-800-343-7265
National Keratoconus Assistance Foundation
Financial support to patients who need surgical and optometric treatment for keratoconus and other corneal problems.

Sight For Students
A VSP charity that provides free vision exams and glasses to low-income, uninsured children. Operates nationally through a network of community partners who identify children in need and VSP network doctors who provide the eyecare services.
