March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Migrants and immigrants experience barriers to getting important preventative screenings, and perceptions around screenings may worsen the likelihood that they follow through even if they do have access. Yet, without those screenings, many immigrants are diagnosed too late for treatments to be successful. MCN’s cancer resources page provides useful resources.
