Happy New Year from Migrant Clinicians Network! We have lots of work to do in 2022 in health justice. Here are a few resources, recommended by MCN staff, to help us push forward.

Kaethe sent around three new Viewpoint articles published this week in the Journal of the American Medical Association that propose a new national COVID-19 strategy (which you can access here, here, and here). Claire shared the United Nation’s wrap-up of 2021 migration: The number of people forced to leave their homes reached a record-high 84 million, despite COVID-related travel restrictions. The report highlights the increased migration from Afghanistan and Central America, along with crises along the Mediterranean, and in Libya and Belarus.
