Mental health and well-being remain top concerns for all patients, including agricultural workers and their families. Community health center clinicians are committed to delivering the highest standard of care using practices and language that are supportive of the patient’s personal experiences. This webinar will highlight interdisciplinary models and practical approaches to help clinicians address mental health challenges that contribute to disease burden.
At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to:
-
Describe and compare key interdisciplinary models used in collaborative integrated care settings.
-
Explain how integrated behavioral health improves access to care through preventive mental health screenings and short-term interventions in community health centers.
-
Analyze the role of integrated care in treating and preventing chronic health conditions commonly managed in primary care.
