Migrant Clinicians Network (MCN) was selected by The Young Texans Against Cancer (YTAC) to benefit from the proceeds of the YTAC Inaugural Chili-Cook off Fundraiser and Raffle in Austin, Texas!
Young Texans Against Cancer (YTAC) is a nonprofit organization comprised of young men and women affected directly or indirectly by cancer, who actively support the cancer community through the following efforts: Raising funds to help support research-based and other small to medium sized organizations; increasing support for volunteer organizations; and educating the community about cancer research.
MCN is honored to be a recipient of the 2011 Community Grant. This grant will support a 10- month project to recruit and train a minimum of 15 young Latino men and women as peer and/or community educators in underserved regions of Texas.
MCN is proud to partner with YTAC to make a difference in the lives of Texans with cancer.
