Labor Day Weekend caps off National Labor Rights Week, which coincided this year with the anniversary of UFW’s march on the Texas Capitol.  Thank you to the migrant laborers across the country -- farmworkers, custodians, construction workers -- who are often overlooked during our Labor Day festivities but make up an essential part of our economy and our culture. Weekly Win: Art helps us process our reality -- and it also documents events in digestible forms. Claire recommended Art Hack’s comics and arts portraying the thoughts and motivations of participants at Tuesday’s Oakland protest against the new rule on public charge.
