In 2017, MCN attended the launch of the VdS in Austin and has acted as its fiscal agent ever since.  In partnership with Austin Public Health and other regional health organizations, VdS Austin serves the following counties: Bastrop, Bell, Blanco, Brown, Burnet, Cadwell, Coryell, Comanche, Coleman, Falls, Fayette, Hamilton, Hays, Llano, Lampasas, Lee, McLennan, Milam, Mills, Limestone, San Saba, Travis, and Williamson. VdS Austin offers free vaccinations events at the offices of the Mexican Consulate. The VdS also offers health education and other services at the fairs that it holds periodically at the Consulate.
