Ventanilla de Salud - Eagle Pass, Texas

In 2020, MCN became the fiscal agent for VdS in Eagle Pass to bring useful information and resources on various health topics to the communities of Maverick, Dimmit, Real, Edwards, Uvalde, Zavala, and Kinney counties.

Due to its location, the Eagle Pass VdS has a cross-border binational community outreach. This allows it, with the support of other allied organizations, to channel and offer free preventive and primary services to those who do not have access to health care. Likewise, for the Eagle Pass VdS, educational efforts for prevention and health awareness are essential. For this reason, this Ventanilla offers health fairs, workshops and conferences, educational sessions on nutrition, diabetes, women's health, addictions, and mental health, among others.
